Pillows

I like pillows! I sew a quilt block, quilt it with batting and backing and then I sew two halves on the back which overlap.

The first one is a test of some solid colors I buy at the local fabric store. I like this fabric and this is my favorite color combination. The Aquarius pillow.

I am planning a quilt for it too. This was a test to see if the colors bled and they didn't.

For my sisters birthday (long gone now) I sewed two pillows for their appartment in greys and purples. It's a bit hard to see but the middle zigzag is a light purple on one and a dark one on the other - with the bindings reversed on each. (I've made them in aquarius colors too but they are not done).

I hope she will like them when they get back from their holidays in Boracay... ooooh to swap these cold and rainy days for pool weather!
