Today my 15 year old and me went to town to travel to grandmas house and stay for the weekend.
When we came to the central station we heard a loud bang and I am always scared of things so I immediately thought of a bomb, but my 15 year old laughed it of as I am known for overdramatizing everything.
We got on the train and left the city knowing there had been a bomb, but not how much damage there had been. All evening long we have watched the news with horrible pictures from Oslo and the terrible massacre at Utøya youth camp.
This is too close for my comfort and I was glad we were going out of town. They later evacuated the central station for fear of more bombs and I feel like the things one fear but think will never happen has been shoved up in our faces.
My husband works in town and pieces of the roof in the store fell down. He was so scared when I didn't answer my phone but I had it on silent so I didn't hear it ring.
One man is arrested. I hope they uncover if he had accomplices or worked alone and bring the responsible to justice.
Tonight my prayers go to the relatives and friends of the massacred people, I hope they get all the help they need.
xx Kirsten

I'm so glad you and your family are safe, and my thoughts are with Norway today. :(
